Mrs. Christy Poore
Born and raised in Hartselle, Alabama, I am a proud graduate of Hartselle High School. I share a blended family of seven with my husband, Thad, who retired from Nucor after 28 years of service. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in multiple school systems, including Tuscaloosa County, Tuscaloosa City, Shelby County, Hartselle City, and Morgan County. Family is at the heart of my story. My daughter is a graduate of Auburn University and now serves as a Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. My son, Zane, is currently pursuing a machinist certification at Calhoun Community College. Landon is a music artist in New Madrid, Missouri, Hannah works for the City of New Madrid in Missouri, and Ethan works at Daiken in Decatur. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the lake, traveling, working out with my husband at the gym, and cheering on Alabama football—Roll Tide!
