Mrs. Beth Young

I am so happy to get to work at sweet Falkville Elementary as a reading interventionist. I’ve worn several teaching hats in the past including a job as a co director for a preschool, a writer for Mailbox Education magazine, a teacher for Sylvan Learning Center, and an elementary art teacher for 25 years. About a year ago I retired to take care of my mother. I missed teaching so much, so it was such a blessing to be given this opportunity. I am thankful every day for the joyful privilege to see young minds grow. When I am not teaching I am taking long walks in the park, spending time with my husband John, and petting my cat Buddy.
